Georgian Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze told media in Brussels today that Georgian Prime Minister BidzinaIvanishvili will visit the U.S. in late November.
“Ivanishvili will visit the U.S, presumably, in late November, before the NATO ministerial meeting,” Panjikidze said.
Note that NATO ministerial meeting will be conducted in Brussels in early December.
Panjikidze added that Deputy Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Gordon will arrive in Georgia this week to prepare Ivanishvili’s visit to the U.S. Georgian Foreign Minister’s meeting with Gordon is scheduled on November 17.
