According to the Armenian scientists who have been elaborating on the unprecedented discoveries about lightning, there is a positively charged layer underneath the cloud hindering the lightning and the cloudbursts occur only between these layers. The discoveries are made in the Aragats scientific center on the 3250 meters above the sea level. This phenomenon of extremely high energy has a fundamental significance and usage for physics because this energy is just above our heads. As the intern in the Alikhanyan scientific laboratory Hripsime Mkrtchyan reports to “168 zham”, the final elaboration of the discovery will allow to avoid human deaths initially predicting the lightning activation and connect to a mobile operator to find out whether there are people in the area or not.
Now the scientists are working on the acquisition of the new equipment which will allow the observance the cloud movement, to determine more exactly the shift of the electric field during the cloudburst, do supplementary examinations on the matter and so on.
