During official visit to France, RA President met with Prime Minister of France Jean-Marc Ero.
The RA President and the Prime Minister exchanged views on the fact that the Armenian-French great political cooperation during 20 years shall be a basis for the start of economic cooperation. The head of the state found one the most priority issues the further development of trade and economic relations and trade growth. In this context they discussed a wide range of programs of mutual interest.
The RA President and the Prime Minister spoke about the importance of the “Armenian-French business club” opened last year and further expansion of its activities.
There was a detailed discussion on energy projects involving French companies.
Prime Minister of France expressed willingness to set up free economic zones in Armenia to encourage French companies.
Serzh Sargsyan and Jean-Marc Ero spoke about Armenia-France cultural and educational relations. They also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
