As it was already reported today, the candidate for the presidential elections Vardan Sedrakyan told the journalists he was ready to donate money for Raffi Hovhannisian fundraising to which the “Heritage” party representatives replied they saw no reason to do so.
Sedrakyan clarified that he had heard Hovhannisian announcing about the pre-electoral fundraising and decided to participate in it as an Armenian. However Sedrakyan is ready to do what he proposed for one condition: in case Hovhannisian does not pass the boundary of 5%, he can keep the money, but in case he passes the boundary, he will be obliged to return the sum. As Sedrakyan clarified he made this decision because Hovhannisian is a candidate that will not encourage electoral frauds, will not corrupt the society to vote for him in contradiction with the incumbent president who showed that the aforementioned crimes are eligible for the Premier Minister of the country and a number of other authorities.
Vardan Sedrakyan said he would wait until Hovhannisian responded and in case the reply was positive, he would take 8 million drams to Hovhannisian’s office. As a conclusion Sedrakyan clarified he earned that money since 1998 when he appeared on TV first and presented “Sasna Tsrer”.
