As Karen Karapetyan office head Artak Chagharyan states, Karen and Samvel Karapetyans, the founders of “Tashir” foundation along with the world bank are aimed at donating $2 million for the initiation of an ultra-modern hospital in Vanadzor. The construction will start in the near future.
There is another initiation to be carried out this year by the Karapetyans. They will reward 50 scientists who live and work in Vanadzor and 300 pedagogues throughout the whole Lori region. These initiatives are not new and are continuous. As the office informs, they have asked all the Universities in Armenia to provide them with the names of the students from Lori region who are in need and the decision based on the information will be carried out and informed to the public later.
