Azerbaijani media reports that chairman of the Eurasian Economic Cooperation Association, editor-in-chief of magazine “EkoAvrasiya”, Hikmet Eren, wrote a statement on Azerbaijan, and according to him “Azerbaijan is a strategically important state of the region and will continue to have this importance”.
“This is because Azerbaijan’s potential and successful policy has turned it into a leader state of the region. This is obvious from outside of the process. The main problem of Azerbaijan is the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict which affects it negatively in many ways” said Hikmet Eren.
