Georgian media reports that President of the European Commission (EC) Jose Manuel Barroso and new Prime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili will hold talks in Brussels on November 12.
Note, the visit to the EU’s administrative capital will be Ivanishvili’s first foreign trip as head of the Georgian government.
Georgian Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze commented on Ivanishvilli’s visit and said the following:
“This visit is an opportunity to highlight the long-term commitment to the European Union’s stability and development of Georgia”.
