Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Alasania believes that officers now need care and correct setting of the problem.
According to the Georgian Defense Ministry, the Minister declared it at the planned monitoring of the Armed forces.
“I believe, and I want to repeat it today, that there is very big officer resource in this country. These people need care and correct setting of the problem. As a civilian minister, I will do everything to provide them with support for performance of the tasks “- Alasania said.
Today within the planned monitoring the minister visited the National Guard and the Department of Veterans Affairs and spoke to them about the problems of leadership, tactics and objectives. He visited the Bureau of Special Operations of Military Police.
The minister finished the planned monitoring today in national training center “Krtsanisi”. He attended the exercise of those troops, who will participate in the international peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan.
