As the political analyst Aram Amatuni discusses, the PAP has initiated a proposal that will be the savior of the country. Amatuni casts doubts on the PAP’s participation on saving the country from collapsing when the public wealth was being stolen from the public and, as Amatuni goes on, it is not hard to get where the PAP was judging from its leader’s wealth in Armenia. According to the political analyst, the times have passed when the ruling authorities would amount their personal wealth under the name of supporting the public’s interests. Amatuni believes this strategy should have expired its existence in this IT age, where any kind of information access has become available but the reality states the opposite picture.
This political behavior needs a scrupulous examination because the public has turned to an object to which whatever strategy implemented, will function to the full. Amatuni mentions the interrelationship between Kocharyan’s, Tsarukyan’s and Sargsyan’s confident agreements which no one can make a deduction where the public interest lies. Another argument the political analyst brings is the currently happening showdown played by Sargsyan can be one of those agreements to cover the public’s eyes on more important issues which implies Kocharyan and Sargsyan can use the country at their convenience. The silence and the tolerance of the public to what happens in Armenian political life speaks about the society being inadequately capable of self-expressing and resisting the current frauds. Amatuni concludes his point by stating the public indifference towards all these processes is more dangerous than what the PAP or the Republican party will arrange.
