Armenian National Congress discussed the PAP’s proposal to hold consultations prior to the presidential elections.
“In our opinion, these consultations agenda should be expanded, including in it more general program of social and political forces to unite against the regime of objective measures and mechanisms in the upcoming presidential election. It is mainly,
1. Change the electoral system to ensure the free expression of the people, represented by the National Congress, the adoption of the legislative package, as well as mechanisms for the control of the legality of the upcoming presidential election.
2. Joint actions in the application of existing mechanisms introducing non-confidence of the incumbent government
3. Organize mass public and other events for the nation’s political activation
4. Create a joint program for illegal economic monopolies and privileges and the elimination of corruption in the system.”
