Mayor of Gyumri region Samvel Balasanyan met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Poland Zdislav Rachinsky. Welcoming the guest, the Mayor presented a general picture of the main areas of Gyumri and the already started works in specific areas.
For his part, Ambassador Zdislav Rachinsky congratulated Samvel Balasanyan on being elected as a mayor and wished productive activity.
Then, the sides discussed a number of issues of mutual interest; in particular, providing the necessary conditions for ethnic Poles living in Gyumri (building for studies), building bilateral relations between Gyumri and Polish city Belistok and various issues related investments.
