During today’s meeting with the journalists the leader of the “Christian Democrats” party Khosrov Harutyunyan mentioned that he sees no rational core in the ANC-PAP cooperation.
The speaker stated he had a great hope “Heritage”-“Liberal Democrats” joint cooperation would work out and expressed his disappointment for the current state of the two parties. He said every political party has its own perceptions on the presidential elections and that these parties make decisions based on their views to the upcoming important political process. Speaking about the ANC-PAP cooperation, Harutyunyan told he did not believe in this political alliance since there are to completely different power weights on the hands of the scale. He clarified it is obvious the ANC undertook this step to make a difference in the presidential elections but Harutyunyan did not understand where the PAP interest was in this case. Khosrov Harutyunyan concluded he saw Levon Ter-Petrosyan as the successful leader of the opposition.
