Yerkir.am reports the ARF supreme councilhas issued an announcement before the 2013 presidential elections, in which it particularly dwells on:
1) formalizing an electoral system that will provide the public with government real change system, freedom of self-expression and a perspective to have a better political governing;
2) initiating Constitutional amendments on shifting the country to the parliamentary system;
3) providing leverages to watchdog the authorities and fix the opposition quota in the Supervisory Board session;
4) strictly distinguishing the economic and political aspects, providing complete independence of the judicial body;
5) Fixing the organizing and regulative participation of the state into the civic well-being, putting the least boundary of the state budget in the social policy base;
6) adopting the international politics’ strategy which is aimed at supporting and sustaining the independence, security and self-governing of the country;
7) calling back the Armenian signature from the Armenian-Turkish protocols;
The ARF is confirmed that the solution of the aforementioned issues will lead to the efficiency of the government and will serve the interests of the public. Deriving from this statement, the ARF is open to hold discussions with political parties, public layers and professional groupings.After the discussion ARF will announce about the form of its participation in the upcoming presidential elections.
