Turkish media reports that the second Armenian plane on its way to Syria was grounded by Turkey.As reported, the special group searched the plane and nothing “dangerous” was found in it.
Note, on October 15, the Turkish authorities have searched the first plane, flying from Armenia to Syria,after it landed in the eastern city of Erzurum. Ankara demanded in advance the on-the-ground cargo inspection as a condition of flying through Turkish airspace.
The aircraft was grounded for about two hours and then cleared to continue its flight. The cargo plane was carrying humanitarian aid to war-torn Aleppo.
“There was nothing extraordinary about it,” head of Air Armenia, ArsenAvetisyan, assured in the press-conference.
