President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory letter to Barack Obama being re-elected as president of the United States. The letter, in particular, says:
“I heartily congratulate you on your re-election as President of the United States of America. Your impressive victory proved that the path you have chosen to promote the United States, as well as your internal and external policy, are in tune with the expectations of the majority of the American people. We are grateful for the support that the United States continuously provides Armenia.
I was very pleased with the fact that your re-election will give the opportunity to continue to actively develop and deepen the Armenian-American relations, which are at the highest level during the history of our relations. I am sure that our multilateral cooperation establishes new advances in the next four years for the benefit of our two nations.”
