Today in the meeting with the journalists the president of the Communist party Ruben Tovmasyan congratulated on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the November Revolution. The leader of the party stated that there are very good connections with the Communist parties of Russia, China and Greece with who they constantly exchange with invitations to various events.
Tovmasyan mentioned they are on the same stand with the Communist party of Russia and that the next meeting is going to take place in February. To the question whether they have a candidate for the upcoming presidential elections, Tovmasyan replied that they are not a single-party and that their plenum will decide and make an announcement in December. “Today anybody comes up with a presidential bid”,, said Ruben Tovmasyan. As a conclusion, Tovmasyan said they would support a candidate who would announce all the strategic branches will belong to the public but now there is no such candidate.
