Armen Martirosyan, vice-president of “Heritage” faction, today had a press conference and talked about the upcoming presidential elections, the policy of their candidate, Raffi Hovhannisyan, and about “Heritage”-“Free Democrats” conflict.
According to him the conflict which was between “Heritage” and “Free Democrats” parties, at the initial stage will negatively impact on Hovhannisyan, however, stressing that it won’t affect on the pre-election campaign.
Martirosyan stressed that they don’t have anything against the “Free Democrats” party the issue is connected with one person. The MP noted that their candidate will go till the end and added that he has all the characteristics of a leader who can take all the responsibilities on his shoulders.
In the end Martirosyan commented on the announcement made by Levon Zurabyan, ANC member.According to Zurabyan, Raffi Hovhannisyan can’t be the joint oppositional candidate.
Martirosyan responded:
“If from their point of view Hovhannisyan can’t be the joint oppositional candidate, I must stress that Levon Ter-Petrosyan (leader of ANC) shouldn’t be nominated at all”.
