Today, during the 67th session of the UN GA the permanent representative to the UN, ambassador Karen Nazaryan delivered a speech on “The elimination of racism, racial segregation and intolerance”. The ambassador particularly mentioned that the wounds of Nagorno Karabakh war are not sound yet and that Azerbaijan continues to lead a hate preaching official strategy.
Nazaryan presented facts on the hatred towards Armenians from Baku particularly dwelling on the to Ramil Safarov which distorts not only the humanitarian aims of the international law but challenges the whole system of the universal human rights. The ambassador speech concluded the statement according to which Azerbaijan violated the UN intention to eliminate intolerance by pardoning the murderer and encouraged the UN and the whole international society to raise their voice against the injustice.
