The ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Georgia Hovhannes Manukyan had meetings with the new established parliament of Georgia on November 5. The newly appointed speaker of the Georgian parliament Davit Usupashvili greeted the Armenian ambassador stating that Manukyan was the first diplomat to meet in the new parliament building in Kutaisi.
Manukyan in his turn congratulated the new government and expressed his belief that their cooperation will strengthen not only inter parliamentary relations between the two countries but will also contribute to the Armenian-Georgian relations. As the media office to the MFA of Armenia reports, the two sides discussed the Armenian diaspora concerns and the probable ways for their solutions. Manukyan also met the first deputy to the speaker of the Georgian parliament Mrs. Manana Kobakhidze, deputy speakers Zurab Abashidze, Murman Dumbadze, Zviad Dzidziguri and the president of the committee on the foreign relations to the Georgian parliament Tedo Djaparidze.
