Press service of RA Foreign Ministry told our News Agency that on November 6, Ambassador of Armenia to Argentina, Vahagn Meliqyan, met with the vice-president of Argentina, speaker of Argentinean parliament, Amado Budu.
As reported, the sides talked about Armenia-Argentina relations and about the developing of the cooperation.
The sides also stressed the importance of inter-parliamentary relations between the countries.
Budu noted that besides economic relations the countries can cooperate in science field.
During the meeting it was said that a cooperation may be established between the Buenos Aires State University and Yerevan state Linguistic University named after Valeri Brusov.
Ambassador Meliqyan told Armenian foreign Ministry that Argentina’s minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Jose Kino Baranyao, is expected to visit Armenia in near future.
