Turkish “Anadolu Agency” reports that Turkey’s Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has slammed the European Union over its strict visa policy on Turkish citizens.
According to PM it is not fair that “Latin American countries, which have nothing to do with the EU, can get in and out easily but Turkey, which is a negotiating candidate country, is denied visa exemption.
Erdogan, however, sounded hopeful that the European Union would eventually lift visa requirements on Turks, saying, “sooner or later this problem will be overcome”.
