Sos Gimishyan, the head of the “Christian-Democratic Rebirth” party today told the journalist that tomorrow the ANC political council will clarify what Levon Zurabyan and Aram Manukyan meant by saying the ANC made a decision in August to cooperate with PAP.
Gimishyan stated the August discussion in the ANC political council was only about whether the ANC representatives to the NA should cooperate with other political powers. In case of presidential elections the speaker told no consensus is reached among the ANC members. Gimishyan concluded that anyone can be Ter-Petrosyan’s candidate but not Tsarukyan and that Ter-Petrosyan has to put his candidacy as the leader of the congress, otherwise they will have to change the leader.
