As the deputy minister of Finance in Armenia Pavel Safaryan declares, the expenditure increase of the Ministry of Economy plans in Armenia will be 1637.44 (51.9%) million drams according to the 2013 state budget. He added 4791.95 million drams will be allocated as opposed to 2012 state budget allocation which was 3154.51 million drams.
ANC member Hrant Bagratyan inquired the bodies checking the Ministry of Economy plans pointing at the latters’ inefficiency and bringing the examples of reducing tourism numbers and NPP condition. Bagratyan also expressed his doubts about North-South road construction urgency and railway construction urgency in Qajaran. Pavel Safaryan mentioned there was no money intended for the PNN according to the budget and that the Ministry of Finance must present a loan program to the government for the North-South road construction.
Bagratyan concluded that Qajaran tunnel was also included in the North-South road construction strategy and if the latter is a socioeconomic one, the priority must be given to the tunnel construction. Bagratyan also urged to serve the agreement on the road construction for the people’s interests.
