An Indonesian daily, Jakarta Post, writes that Azerbaijan’s top leaders will visit Indonesia this month to strengthen growing ties between Indonesia and the South Caucasus nation.
As reported, Azerbaijan Defense Industry Minister, Yavar Jamalov, arrived in Jakarta on Tuesday to attend the Indo Defense 2012 Expo and Forum, which will be held from Wednesday to Saturday.
The source informs that at least 40 countries, including top arms manufacturers such as the US, UK, Germany, Russia, France and Sweden, are participating in Indonesia’s top defense expo.
The chairman of Azerbaijan’s parliament Milli Mejlis Ogtay Asadov will visit Indonesia from Thursday to Sunday to enhance cooperation between the countries’ legislative bodies. Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev will also come to Indonesia this month on a state visit to give a new shape to fast-growing bilateral relations.
