Georgian media, citing the announcement made by Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development of Georgia, Davit Narmania, reports that 80 million GEL (47.92 million USD),which current Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili paid as a fine to the state budget a few months ago for alleged violations, has been returned to him.
Narmania said that the money which Ivanishvili transferred to the state budget willfully, instructing that time government of Georgia to spend it on the compensations and assistance to the disaster affected Kakheti Region, was not spent properly, therefore, it was returned to Ivanishvili.
