Azerbaijani media reports that yesterday, November 5, Baku hosted a meeting of the Caspian-European Integration Business Club (CEIBC), and during it Ukrainian ambassador to Azerbaijan Alexander Mishchenko said that Ukrainian Embassy in Baku closely monitors development of relations between the two countries in the field of tourism.
“Today serious efforts are taken to develop these relations; in particular a direct flight to the Crimea was opened. We have a strong interest in tourism venues to be opened in Azerbaijan, in particular the creation of first summer and winter tourist complex Shahdagh, as well as resumption of the work of health resort Naftalan. Today, new opportunities are opening and travel agencies display an interest in development of these relations,” said the ambassador.
