Armenian National Congress (ANC) party has not made any decision on the ANC-PAP cooperation. This was reported by board member of the ANC Sos Gimishyan.
“It is difficult to call it a discussion, because the ANC’s council has not made any decision on the ANC-PAP cooperation. There have been talks about this issue earlier. We discussed the appropriateness and aim of the cooperation. These conversations were purely informational in nature. In short, there were no serious political cooperation talks or decision,” said Sos Gimishyan.
He mentioned that they didn’t refer to the cooperation between the parties during the presidential elections.
Sos Gimishyan also added that there is a group of political forces in the ANC that do not accept this collaboration and there are other people, who consider it appropriate and see a sense in it. “The part, which is against, including me, decided not interfere,” he explained.
To the question of reporters whether there are other obstacles to discuss the ANC-PAP cooperation, Sos Gimishyan said that PAP is a political force, which has been in power for 15 years, but there is no assurance that the “Prosperous Armenia” party in an opposition.
