Russian Regnum News Agency reports that today, November 5, U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Haffern, had a press conference and talked about the threats coming from Azerbaijan, concerning the airport in NKR and about the policy of US on the conflict.
According to him, U.S. uses and will use any opportunity to promote a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
As reported, during the conference, the ambassador recalled the recent meeting of the FMs of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Paris, noting that efforts to return to the negotiations will be continued.
Commenting on the threats, coming by Azerbaijan, that they will shoot down the civil planes in the airport of Nagorno-Karabakh, the U.S. ambassador said, “As a member of a co-chair of OSCE Minsk Group, I urge the sides not to do provocative actions, under any circumstances and attacks on civil aircraft are not allowed” stressed the ambassador.
