Today Raffi Hovhannisian told the journalists there was no divorce between the “Liberal Democrats” and “Heritage” because there had not been a marriage between the two initially. To the question whether it was right to put down the mandate given to him by the people, Hovhannisian noted the issue might be accurate if he were proposed as a majoritarian candidate, but he had been proposed as a proportionate candidate jointly agreed-upon by the party members.
Hovhannisian mentioned there has been a good ground for the effective cooperation with the “Liberal Democrats” however there were promises that were not carried out. He refused to discuss “Liberal democrats” party member Aleksandr Arzumanyan’s withdrawal from “Heritage” party stating that he highly appreciated Arzumanya’s diplomatic proficiencies and that diplomacy is nothing in case it does not have the truth as its basics.
