The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan told Trend news agency on Friday that Agenda of the meeting of the Council of Heads of Ministries of Internal Affairs of CIS Member States, to be held next month in Baku, was determined.
The agency writes that on August 2-4, in order to prepare for the meeting, Baku hosted a meeting of experts of the Commonwealth’s Interior Ministries. There were delegations from the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Russia, as well as representatives of the Coordinating Bureau on the fight against organized crime and other serious crimes on the territory of the CIS member states.
The priority issues to further strengthen cooperation in combating crime and ensuring public safety were discussed at the meeting.
The meeting developed agenda of the meeting of the Council of Interior Ministers of CIS Member States scheduled for September.
