Yesterday the judge of the Court of First Instance of Yerevan Central and Norq-Marash districts Mkhitar Papoyan has found ANC activist Gaspari guilty in hooliganism. The punishment is the 30 times of minimum wage.
“Haykakan Zhamanak” writes that this trial refers to the case in front of the government previous year, when the former Police Chief has pushed the activists, after which Vardges Gaspari has shouted “Alik hooligan, Alik criminal.” This very fact was found as hooliganism, whereas even a person without law education understands that this is not a crime. Gaspari told “HZh” correspondent that the verdict was expected and he will appeal it.
