On Monday the Georgian Minister of Justice Thea Tsulukiani said that the President of Georgia approved Archil Kbilashvili as chief prosecutor of the country.
“I was told that Mikheil Saakashvili has signed a decree on the appointment of Archil Kbilashvili as Chief Prosecutor of Georgia,” she said.
Thea Tsulukiani noted that the candidate was announced several days ago after she dismissed the former chief prosecutor of the country Murtaz Zodelava.
Kbilashvili ensured that after the appointment will start an investigation on scandalous cases, including the death of Speaker Zurab Zhvania.
