We should recall that yesterday evening there was a crash of a building located in Xanjyan Street, Yereven. As reported, the crash happened during the construction works and due to it the third floor completely crashed leaving the workers under it.
Nikolay Grigoryan, Deputy Chief Minister of RA Emergency Situations and the director of the Ministry of Emergency Rescue Service, said that the reason of the crash can be announced only after the investigation. Press service of Yerevan city’s government informed that the construction, held in Xanjyan street, was carried out by “”Chilingaryan Design and construction” Ltd.
Architect Gurgen Musheghyan, former director of “Yerevan Project” institute, earlier said that there are several reasons for the crash. According to him, the main reason was the under part of the building, since it wasn’t as strong as it should be and when they were trying to build the upper part, it crashed. Our News Agency tried to figure out the activities held by “Chilingaryan Design and construction” Ltd and as it turned out the company which was guilty for the crash of a building , also carries the construction works of the Catholicos’ residence in Yerevan.
