On October 22, the head of state income committee of RA Gagik Khachatryan’s delegation left for Buenos Aires with an official visit.
On October 23 Khachatryan has met with the head of Argentinean federal department of state revenue Ricardo Echegarra. Referring to Armenian-Argentinean relations the parties noted that there is a great potential and the customs agreement to be signed during the meeting will assist the promotion of the relations between the two states.
At the end of the meeting the income committees of the two states signed an agreement on cooperation in customs services.
The agreement supposes deepening of Armenian-Argentinean relations in the proficiency of inquiries, in the fight against smuggling, illegal turnover of art works and drugs. This agreement will encourage the trade and will facilitate customs processes.
The delegation visited the port of Buenos Aires where they got acquinated with the infrastructures and the work of the customs service.
