Armenian MP, president of “Javakhk” union, Shirak Torosyan, today had a press conference and talked about Georgian policy towards Armenians.
“I should stress that because of Georgia’s policy the Turkish-Azerbaijani factor became stronger in Georgia. Turkey tries to do everything in order to put pressure on Armenians living in Javakhk. They want Turkish Mskheties move from Mskheti to Javakhk saying that there are a lot of empty houses there and Turkish Mskheties can live there. Georgia followed Azerbaijan’s and Turkey’s policy and Turkish-Azerbaijani factor became stronger in Georgia. As you know Javakhk’s power companies are also owned by Turkish companies so if it continues in some years the Georgian government will be given to Turks”, stressed Torosyan.
