Press service of Armenia’s Foreign Ministry reported that Edward Nalbandian, MFA of Armenia, yesterday, October 25, visited Costa Rica and met with country’s parliament speaker, Viktor Emilio Granados Kalvo.
Welcoming the guest, Kalvo stressed that he is glad to see our FM, since the visit will be a new beginning of the relations between Armenia and Costa Rica.
Kalvo noted that his country is eager to cooperate with Armenia and will do everything to deepen the relations.
Nalbandian, in his turn thanked Kalvo for a warm welcome and said that the aim of his visit to Latin American countries is to make strong ties with the countries and stressed that the close cooperation with Costa Rica is very important for Armenia.
As reported, during the meeting, Kalvo said that he will do everything in order to create inter-parliamentary ties with RA National Assembly.
Nalbandian also introduced Kalvo about Armenian policy on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and said that Armenia obeys the requirements of OSCE Minsk group and added that Azerbaijan doesn’t want to accept the requirements and wants to change the status-quo.
