Press service of Armenia’s Foreign Ministry told our News Agency that Edward Nalbandian, MFA of Armenia, visited Guatemala and met with his Guatemalan counterpart, Harold Kabayeros.
Welcoming Nalbandian, Kabayeros said that he is very glad to see Nalbandian in Guatemala and stressed that there is progress in the relations between two countries.
Kabayeros noted that the meeting will give a great chance to deepen the relations between the countries and realize the agreements which were made between the high officials during the meeting which was held in New York.
Nalbandian in his turn thanked Kabayeros for a warm welcome and stressed that they will try to do everything in order to develop the relations.
Our minister also stressed that the accreditation of Armenia’s ambassador will play a great role in the relations.
As reported, the sides made agreements to work with each other and bring the level of cooperation at a high level.
Nalbandian also met with the speaker of Guatemala’s parliament ,Judy Rivera Estrada, and the latter mentioned that it is very important for 2 countries since after making diplomatic ties Nalbandian is the first Armenian high official who visited Guatemala.
