Tigran Balayan, spokesman of Armenia’s Foreign Ministry, told Armenian media that on October 27 FMs of Armenia and Azerbaijan, along with the co-chairs of OSCE Minsk group, will meet in Paris.
As reported, the aim of the meeting is to discuss Ramil Safarof’s case.
We should recall that Azerbaijani officer killed Armenian officer Gurgen Margaryan back in 2004, during the NATO trainings, held in Budapest, Hungary.
After it, the murderer was extradited to Azerbaijan and president Ilham Aliyev pardoned him.
According to Balayan, after discussing Safarov’s issue the sides will touch upon the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Note, after Safarof’s extradition no meeting was held between Azerbaijani and Armenian sides.
