Official sources report that LUKoil-Azerbaijan Co. has started the organization of filling stations on the basis of franchising in Azerbaijan.
3 from 29 filling stations, along with two stations, which have been set in operation today in Shamakhy, already function in accordance with this scheme.
Now, LUKoil filling stations network is the second biggest network in the country. 11 of the stations are located in Baku, others – in regions. There is also intention to open 2 more stations by the end of the year.
According to information, franchising scheme will be continued. From now on, the company prefers activity of filling stations on the basis of lease.
