“It is important to inform the public about the center. The project is an organism that will grow by active work.”- said the head of press service of RA Ministry of Diaspora Vaghinak Vardanyan during press conference on the creation of online center of Armenian and Armenian Studies.
According to him the center was founded by no order. The center has 12 functions. “There is a great issue of preserving Armenian national identity in Diaspora. We hope that the center will highly contribute to the solution of the problem.”
Mr. Vardanyan also noted the aims of the center 1. To assist to the preservation of Armenian and its teaching in Diaspora. 2. To make the information in foreign languages available in Armenian. 3. To assist the teaching of Armenian for specialization studies.
The center provides 12 services, translations, dictionaries, grammatical analysis of the sentence, spelling check-up, encyclopedia in Armenian, editing of texts, embedded alphabet, student’s portal, agent program, editor in internet area.
