RA Government’s economic policy is based on neither international experience, nor on common sense. This was said by MP Artsvik Minasyan on October 24th, during discussions on bill of increasing minimum wage by 2500 AMD.
According to A. Minasyan international experience hints that in order to overcome crisis one must increase demand including through increasing the wages. Whereas RA government more drowns the demand, the MP thinks. “If you don’t give proper wage, the employee doesn’t create the necessary value needed by the employer.” –noted A. Minasyan. He assured that in case of setting the minimum wage on lifeline budget we will have economic growth and increase the employment level.
