Today RA deputy PM, minister of regional government Armen Gevorgyan took part in the inauguration of the assembly “The perspectives of the developments of Armenia and Moldova social investment funds” started in Yerevan on the initiative of RA Government and World Bank and addressed a statement. He noted that Armenian government will go on cooperating with World Bank expecting its support for creation and execution of the program on social investment.
“Armenian government highly appreciates the work of AMSI and expects continuation. In 60% of Armenian communities the renovation of infrastructures like water-provision, education and health institutions is an essential issue and we expect fund’s support.”- said the deputy PM.
Officials from Armenia, Moldova, experts from Georgia, Ukraine, Russia and representatives from local self-government institutions as well as representatives from World Bank and other donor organizations were present at the meeting.
