“Aravot” interviewed Khachatur Qoqobelyan, president of “Free Democrats”, and asked him a question because of which there is a huge scandal in Armenian political world.
The journalist asked Qoqobelyan why doesn’t he put away his mandate in order to end the scandal, and he responded.
“To tell the truth I have read almost all the articles which were written against me. Yes I’m saying against me since everything is done against me so that I put my mandate away. I’m sure that all this is just a political blackmail. I just can’t get one thing. When they say let’s put the mandate and pass it to another one. Will that another one be better than me? The thing is that they just want to change me, this is the whole problem, but I and my party haven’t been elected by people in order to put away the mandates, we must continue working,” said Qoqobelyan.
