The International Monetary Fund (IMF) agreed to provide the RA government about 42 million U.S. dollars in 2012.
Government Minister of Finance Vache Gabrielyan will present a project on proving special loan credit for 202,400 million dollar to the Government of Armenia by the IMF.
Note that according to the agreement on the “long-term credit tool” between the RA government and the IMF for 74.8 million credit, in 2010-2011 the IMF provided budgetary support to the RA Government for 115.3 million dollars loan.
The IMF has agreed to provide 27 million special loans to the government in 2012: about 42 million U.S. dollars.
Additional amount of credit is given by the same conditions as those of 10-year repayment term, preferential period -5.5 years.
