ARF Supreme Body Armen Rustamyan stated that the party’s participation in the presidential election is not a self-objective. Apparently, the party is preparing for the presidential election with “Unified Headquarters- 2” operation, which matures by parliamentary elections example.
That means that there is great probability that the ARF will again join the tandem of ANC and “Prosperous Armenia” at the presidential elections. However, the PAP is trying to ensure that development.
This, of course, would be a rational decision for the ARF, taking into account that the party, as in all previous elections, now also has no resources to fight at serious levels of political life.
It should not be ruled out that the ARF party has hinted the PAP at the possibility of supporting their own candidate.
In other words, the ARF is not in agreement with them, but is simply trying to create a new discussion.
