On October 23, RA Ambassador to Egypt Armen Melkonyan had a meeting with the newly appointed Governor of Cairo Osama Ahmad Kamal.
During the meeting they discussed the relations between Cairo and Yerevan, in particular the signed legal document between the two cities and activation of mutual visits. The RA MFA press office informed “First News and Analyses” that the parties considered long-term cooperation in the fields of tourism and culture.
They highly estimated the significant contribution of Armenian-Egyptians in the cultural and social life of Cairo during the ages.
