Georgian media reports that Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili expressed his satisfaction over the growth in Georgia’s World Bank rating in simplicity and accessibility of business.
According to him Georgia ranks ninth in this annual survey which is a success story for the country and worthy of recognition.
Georgian president believes that the WB rating is an ‘objective recognition’ of the former Georgian government’s merits in the development of the country.
Saakashvili noted that the new government of Georgia must contribute to the further development of the country and not demolish the achieved results.
“We must continue to move forward, attract investments and create new jobs, as otherwise there are no growth prospects for our country,” the president noted adding ” We are ready to cooperate with the new government in the most essential issues and as leader of the opposition forces, I am ready to promote our country abroad as happened previously. I am willing to make efforts to attract new investments and create a positive image for Georgia”
