Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili participates in the World Energy Forum -2012 (WEF), which was opened today in Dubai.
According to the Georgian presidential administration, the event is held under the patronage of the Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the UN.
The three-day forum is attended by the heads of government, profile ministers, experts, representatives of international organizations and heads of energy companies. During the event they will discuss, in particular, issues related to ensuring global energy security, technological innovation, financing of energy infrastructure, etc.
Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili will appear before the delegates with a speech.
