Russian Regnum writes that Khachatur Qoqobelyan and Alexander Arzumanyan, MPs from the “Free Democrats” party, which is under “Heritage” faction, from now on only formally remain in the faction and will represent only the interests of their party.
As reported, during the NA Session held today, October 22, leader of “Free Democrats” Khachatur Qoqobelyan said that he suggested to exclude from the faction Ruben Hakobyan and offered Zaruhi Postanjyan to be in his place, but the proposal was not accepted by the majority.
Qoqobelyan told reporters that representatives of “Free Democrats” are not going to give up their seats.
The source informs that at the session it was announced that instead of Raffi Hovhannisyan, leader of “Heritage” faction, who put down his mandate, will be Tevan Poghosyan, who was the 6th in their list.
We should recall that there was aconflict between “Free Democrats” and the Heritage”, the reason of which was Qoqobelyan.
According to Hovhannisyan, they had an agreement, that after the elections they would put down their mandates so that the young generation could go forward, but Qoqobelyan didn’t follow the agreement, and because of that Hovhannsyan called him a liar.
