The president of the fund investigating Armenian Architecture, Samvel Karapetyan told about the pilgrimage to Ani in 2000 in his video blog.
The guards of Ani, which has a value of a museum, learning that the group is from Armenia asked the members of the pilgrimage to somehow stop the blowing up of the stone mines on the coast of Akhuryan river.
Karapetyan told how each of room of Ani was pulled down.
“This is a privilege in the hands of the Turks”- said Samvel Karapetyan who presented 2 pictures shot there.
